To become an Eco Church, an Eco Survey has to be completed about how the church is caring for God’s earth in different areas of their life and work. The answers provided collects points towards an Eco Church Award – the more a church does, the more points are awarded.  There are three levels of Eco Church Award – Bronze, Silver and Gold.

In early March 2021, St Michael achieved a Bronze award.

The Benefice is registered with TERRACYCLE, and the following items are being collected for recycling at St Michael’s Church.
